  No spoilers here because NOTHING happened in this movie for me to spoil. 

  It opens incredibly fun then seamlessly transitions into overly long and rather boring then ends incredibly awards-baity. 

  I wanted to love this so bad but I can’t pretend to love a movie just because I adore its director.

  This one just didn’t have the charm and heart that I’ve come to expect from his pictures.

  It’s not a bad film but it’s just not great either, perhaps my expectations were too high going in.

  Would love hear why people are loving it so much?!?!

  A towering accomplishment of a film; 

  The delusions of the “American Dream” sold to immigrants both beautifully and BRUTALLY illustrated with breathtaking courage and artistry. 

  The hefty price that a man must pay for the gifts of his genius and perhaps moreover, the even greater price that the woman behind the man pays is explored flawlessly. 

  When a filmmaker addresses a subject (in this case architecture) so pristinely and so authentically that it feels like we don’t need another architecture…
