  Intense, unhinged opening that sets the tone for the rest of the film - never a dull moment throughout. Quinten Tarantino being cast as a pervert with a foot fetish in a film he wrote is incredibly convenient. 3.5 stars.

  Portrays the downward spiral that inevitably comes with drug use, complemented perfectly by the soundtrack. Last 20 minutes were genuinely disturbing to watch. One of those endings that leaves you staring blankly at the credits. 5 stars.
