I was actually hooked! Loved the retro set designs and imagery, feels as though it could’ve been filmed inside the original Bladerunner universe but with 21st century CGI. Lacks a bit of originality but hey, so do most Alien prequels/sequels.

A brilliant crossover of film genres blending the classic road movie with the reconnecting old friends flick. Such strong writing from Eisenberg and astonishingly brilliant and diverse acting from Culkin. At its core this film is a comedy that pulls its punches as an introspective look at relationships and family, and stirs its audience from laughter into historical contemplation. So glad I saw this at the cinema, love the feeling of laughing in sync with the rest of the audience!
