Mickey 17 has about 5 or 6 interesting ideas here that each could have been the basis for its own movie, but as it stands none of them come together in a meaningful way. Every 20 minutes or so the movie introduces a new idea through clunky exposition drop that becomes the focus of the next section, and even core premises like the resurrection machine and the multiples feel like they were forgotten about in the second half of the film.

Interstellar wasn't bad, but the allusions to 2001 made me wish I was watching that film instead. The Young Girls of Rochefort 1967

While it started out fairly conventionally, Demy's skill in weaving tangled relationship webs seems is at its strongest in this film. I also like how he undermines the upbeat nature of the film with the out-of-left-field revelation that one of the minor characters is actually a murderer, and the nonchalant way everybody else is able to brush this fact off.
