  Watched over discord with Francisco. A LOT of layers to unpack and many more philosophical themes than other Studio Ghibli films. However, it still held all of the whimsicality I love about Miyazaki and Hisaishi. The imagery and score were incredible as per usual while the blending of reality and dreamscape captured passion in its purest form. I’m going to have to sleep and process it more tonight but overall I liked it a lot.
