Robert Eggers’ retelling of Bram Stoker’s novel Dracula and the 1922 silent film Nosferatu is as well-crafted as it is beautiful, with his signature attention to historical details and accuracy. All three of these factors remain at the forefront of his work. The cinematography was absolutely delicious—dark silhouettes and cast shadows filled every frame, with a coldness that sits in the air throughout the film.
