Underrated gem of the year so far. Gives the vibe of a 70s cop thriller. The setting is amazing and the music is brilliant. It wasn’t trying to rip up trees, but is also relevant today.
Wish it got a wider release, would definitely have gone to the cinema for this.

Despite my boring mum trying to tell me this is “tedious”, this remains one of the best films of the decade in my opinion.
I think everyone can relate to this film in some way, for me in multiple ways, which makes it so special.

Very enjoyable. A post 9/11 love letter to the weirdos in New York and how they come together against a common enemy. Has great Spike Lee character moments that make the actors more interesting and entertaining.
It might sometimes have a bit too much going on, but for the most part it works very well, including the flash forward interviews that connect the story nicely.
Wish Clive Owen had a bigger career.

This is like that beach scene in top gun maverick, but for two hours. Pure vibes.
I’ve never watched a film capable of being so funny and so enjoyable in every scene, it’s pretty ridiculous. It’s a complete overindulgence of good times and guys being guys.
