Into the West 2005
Heart wrenching. May I never forget that the freedom that I enjoy today, yes wars were fought to preserve that freedom. But also that innocent lives were slain for the sake of “manifest destiny”. As a Caucasian male, it’s important to understand the history of our country and how so many people groups were needlessly killed. And still unfairly treated today, nearly 100+ years later. When I come back to read this review, let this be a reminder to not only pray for reconciliation/reform for my black brothers and sisters but also for my First Nation brothers and sisters as well.
