only seems to be streaming on Youtube
lots of amazing candid footage made this doc what it is. however not much below the surface is scratched and i wanted to know more about what drove this guy or gave him the guts to do what he did (to go from reading Sailing for Dummies to sailing Cape Horn in a couple years time is pretty remarkable).
docs like this always kind of make me feel like a loser but the truth is he was an extraordinary person in every sense of the word.

Memorable and well done—i liked it quite a bit, but it’s nothing super special or inventive or thought-provoking, so the huge accolades have surprised me 🤷♀️ Sort of just goes to show how thirsty the Academy/industry is for original material that’s simply just a good, entertaining story?
