  Rewatched with my parents just 9 days after watching for the first time.
  Just one of the best I've seen, I think it dethrones "Election" as my favorite Alexander Payne after more than a decade. Emotionally weighty but deeply compassionate, immaculately crafted and acted. It feels so lived-in. I will be revisiting this year after year, undoubtedly.

  Absolutely incredible. It follows a very gentle arc and doesn't have any massive, manipulative melodramatic moments, but it packs the biggest emotional weight of anything I've seen in such a long time. It feels like such a real and honest story. And it was fantastic to see a totally fresh story of immigration on screen. A uniquely American story. Everyone in the cast was incredible, I honestly can't pick and choose. I hope to see them all in many more things.
