An incredible biopic which rly manages to capture the complexity and nuance of Willie Pepp’s character. A man who put his entire sense of self into being “the best”, and once his best years are behind him, he’s become a fragile, insecure, and destructive person. Yet the movie never breaks the sympathy you feel for him. (Also the wife is the best character)
