    Perfection.

I would like to say a quick thank you to my mum who showed me this when I was about 4 years old. Nearly 20 years later I finally got to experience in the cinema and all I can say is I now recognise that this might be the greatest film ever created.

The whole time I was trying not to get overwhelmed by my emotions but that went right out the window as soon as the fucking insane opening credits started rolling. Then it was just a battle to not have my adrenaline send me to space.

A memory I will cherish forever.

    Absolutely ridiculous.

Full of incredible visuals, vibrant colours, quirky set design, weird creatures, beautiful costumes, a breathtaking score & incredible performances.

The funniest film of 2023 by far, but behind that there is a message through sex & Bella Baxter ‘whoring’ which I view as growth, exploration, freedom & finding yourself. My yearly tv watch did not disappoint one bit.

An enjoyable film for sure with good performances (not sure Oscar worthy), great cinematography and comedy at times. That final emotional impact was just lacking sadly.

I had my doubts & I was genuinely expecting a very middle of the round level film, but I fucking loved this so much.

Timothée Chalamat is a brilliant casting for Wonka, I really bought into it. The rest of the cast are just great too, might be the funniest film of the year.

Looked amazing, set design was off the charts & the music slapped.

Just fucking great, would happily go to watch it again tomorrow & I really really hope they do another because I will be there first day no doubt about it.
