Twin Peaks: Fire Walk with Me 1992

This movie was a whirlwind of emotions. Initially when I first finished watching it, I honestly didn't know what to make of it. As a huge fan of Twin Peaks watching each episode and thinking about them constantly trying to see where this series will go. I found my self a bit disappointed and mixed coming off of this film. DAICON IV Opening Animation 1983
Rewatching this with the historical context in mind; knowing that this will be the catalyst for so many the amazing directors/animators that will go down in history for their work is just crazy. Its amazing how much they went all out on the animation. I can't imagine what it was like for the attendees to have seen this for the first time.

I couldn't find the short film online cause apparently it's part of these mini movies exclusive to the Ghibli museum in japan, but I was able to find this video showing a lot of the storyboards and art from it. Overall the art is amazing and has that Ghibli charm to it. youtu.be/wcf-85oY11k
