so grateful that cinema has Spielberg, a master of the craft. just as we need small, radical experiments in film, we need boundary-breaking choreography and set-pieces. a remarkable accomplishment.
and! i’m just as grateful that i got to watch this with my oldest friend, who always illuminates films with his intellect and passion for this medium.
i watched this film with my friend and his wife. this man is a pastor. i watched this all happen in a dark theater, sitting next to a man of god and his wife. we were the only ones there, i didn’t even fucking know they were going to be there.
