Blood for Dracula 1974
Udo Kier doing his Udo Keir is what this movie has going for it. It is an interesting choice to make his Dracula mostly weak and pathetic. The acting is ridiculous, but maybe on purpose. Is it art if you can't bring yourself to care? I liked Flesh for Frankenstein much better (markedly less teen rape, for one).

Giannis: The Marvelous Journey 2024
Pretty cool dude. There are parts of his and family's life that are elided somewhat (for all the deep talk of family, the brother who got left behind in Nigeria is basically a footnote) but his story just emphasizes what can come out of being a more welcoming society.

A movie about the Klan that somehow avoids the issue of race entirely. Does show how willingly a town celebrates this group as a "protector" of their community, but otherwise turgid with a capital T (so...Turgid)
