  Hot take: The Apprentice humanizes Donald Trump and provides the viewer with a much deeper appreciation of his journey and motivations. At no point in the film do you think to yourself, "Why is Bucky playing Donald Trump?" And Jeremy Strong does his typical masterful work as Roy Cohn, the Emperor Palpatine to Trump's Anakin Skywalker.
