really enjoyed this one. love the camera work and style, with strong cinematography and beautifully artistic shots. last bit of the film slows down a bit for me, and the music wasn't elite

A Foreign Affair 1948
Marlene Dietrich carries this film in my opinion, leaving Jean Arthur and especially John Lund in her shadow. Playing a complex and compelling ex-Nazi bar singer, her affair with Pringle (Lund) is intriguing and draws the audience in, allowing for a strong first half of the film.
