Very sad, particularly right now with American politics 

I did feel like Eunice was a bit inscrutable at times though

Maybe because when Marcelo wrote this, she was losing some Of her memories, so maybe he couldn’t figure it out either 

But that did make some it tough to figure out in terms of her motivations 

For not telling them and such

Very good! Touching movie about a subject not focused on often; potentially came in with too high expectations for what is a generally understated movie; also frustrating Jacob character at times haha; amazing soonja character though; probably better if I had done a better job of understanding that it was going to be very understated throughout; kept expecting something terrible to happen; kept thinking about mudbound, which seems like it was almost a melodrama looking back now

Great! Funny and exciting

Also funny to recognize the grandson and grandma interactions

Hopefully some grandparents of mine will get hearing aids soon too!! They seem very useful

Have not personally witnessed the “I know her” thing though 

Liked the discussion about senior housing vs living at home too and about asking for help 

The parents being insane was a bit strange though. I wasn’t sure what to make of that
