Side Effects May Vary 2024
When J.R. Bookwalter asked me to write and star in his first movie in 23 years, of course I jumped at the chance...and it was so much freakin fun. Incredible cast and crew and featured my favorite scene that I've ever written. I'm not saying which one, but I'm still amazed he let me include it. This movie came at a time that I was seriously considering not making another movie again and I'm so glad that the experience renewed my faith in filmmaking.

Back to basics, I wanted to make a more personal movie after licking my wounds over the failure of BRIMSTONE INCORPORATED. Sasha Graham is mesmerizing in this movie. If she doesn't win awards for her performance in this, there is no God. An extremely difficult film to complete, ironic because it was written with the plan that it would be my easiest movie. I am so incredibly proud of the final result. And, if you've listened to my commentary on the disc, a successful therapy journey.
