  The Shining 1980

  Just rewatched The Shining today and found two interesting facts. The first was that apparently Steven King didn’t like the film. The second was that Kubrick and Nicholson mentally abused/mind fucked Shelley Duval while the film was shot. 

  I have one thing to say. Fuck Steven King.

  Once Upon a Time in the West 1968

  Even though the craziest twist of this film was that Charles Bronson played a hispanic, Leone did do something even crazier. He gave the masterpiece, all time classic, and his best film, “The Good, The Bad, The Ugly,” a run for its money. I know all everyone talks about is the opening of this film, but it truly was a work of art. The long lenses Leone used along with the magnificent shots taken, made this film unforgettable in my eyes. Definitely one of the greats.
