I was never a fan of the old Nosferatu movies really, but Robert Eggers got it right this time. Though he got rid of some of the Vampyr traits as Nosferatu didn’t have fangs (upsetting quite some film buffs), I was all into the creature of the night - well casted and portrayed. The atmosphere, the soundtrack, the costumes, and props, all done very well. I wished the movie was even longer, explaining the Carpathian vampire lore, but I guess…
