So they obviously got the rights from Nikon to show their brand, for the young Sheila's film camera...then why not just give Dunst's character a modern Nikon to shoot with, instead of a Sony A7 with the logo covered up? 🤔
That aside, i was a bit restless through the first half of film, but it picked up in the back end well and truly. I enjoyed the uneasy nature of what was happening, just to 'get the shot'.
The choice in music also helps add to the sense of WTF is going on?
Well known as Roger's down to Earth entry in the Bond series.
Something I didn't enjoy as much when I was a kid, but certainly appreciate it now!
Love the PTS, with the cool shots of the helicopter stunt, the action throughout the whole movie is pretty solid.
Highlights: Two Lotus Espirits! Julian Glover as the Villain. Bill Conti's rendition of the Bond theme for the gun barrel (my favourite GB sequence of all the films).
Lowlights: The detonation of the first Lotus...
Always loved the F/A-18F versus the SAM action sequence ever since i saw it as a kid. The missile CGI still holds up pretty decently too. Hackman gets a solid enough little outing too which is cool. He certainly played the naval role perfectly.
