I watched this to help me fall asleep, so take from that what you will. I did stay awake the whole time tho. I did enjoy this film, it’s kind of goofy but generally pretty good, the characters and acting is giving. The rooms are creative and look really good and the reveal is good. Like it’s nothing special but it’s solid and earnest, even though, information such as the song playing when the car crashed is almost impossible to attain but I’ll forgive.

Hide and Seek 2005
I thought from the poster that it was Jason Issacs, not Robert De Niro so that threw me for a start. Dakota was good, but I kept being transported to her role in Cat in the Hat. Carry-On 2024
The gasp I gumpt when Jason Bateman turned around. I had resigned that I just didn’t know who the voiceover was so when it turned out to be him I was embarrassed and surprised. I really enjoyed his performance, I don’t think I’ve ever seen him in such a serious role before. Taron was also good, like fine. The cinematography was very good, the suspense was good, the plan and the switcheroos and such were done well, easy to follow and understand. Pretty good for an action film, kind of gave old action film vibes which is good.
