    This movie's style remembered me of Uncut Gems -- long takes, with dynamic, fast-paced conversations, that tend to chaos whenever more than two characters are involved.

    I've loved a lot about this movie. It has a great first sequence, instantly defining Andy in opposition with her soon-to-be coworkers. It does a good job of instilling motivation in all of the main characters. And it keeps having these moments of greatness.

    Identity was really well shot. The opening scenes ooze cool. The first time I saw that shady motel in the rain, its neon sign above against the sky, and reflected in the puddles below, I thought: this movie is cool. This is "Heavy Rain" aesthetics on steroids. Damn.
