  As a good friend of mine once said: “Every actor dreams of playing The Dane”, and damn, this film makes me understand why a little more.

  Watching Grylls’ slowly discover how to use her documentary filmmaking skills in a video game context is quite an interesting visual journey, but I fear the main story isn’t quite as profound as it thinks it is.

  Is this the bridge between digital and traditional media? I’m convinced there’s more to be done in this space.

  This film was put on my radar nearly a year ago by a former colleague who has some sort of personal connection to the production and saw it before it was even at festivals, so to say this was my most anticipated film of the year would be an understatement.

  Technically impeccable, but ultimately fails to have anything interesting to say about power or the church.

  Shout out specifically to the sound design as the whispers of the conclave were indistinguishable from the whispers of the real couple sat behind me. Perfect cinema experience.
