  It was like watching a video game which I loved.

  Now I typically hate it when directors star in their own films… however - (SPOILER) - killing yourself off first in the least cool way gets ya some brownie points. 

  Nothing super unique here, and did a horrible job explaining anything, but still visually fun.

  “I think I like tv shows.”

  The way my friends looked at me after that line.

  For obvious cis reasons, I cannot fully relate to this movie. But the underlying message of not being your true authentic self slapped me across the face. And the horror of not living that authenticity - waking up one day, realizing your whole life has been a facade is as heartbreaking as it is terrifying. 

  The story itself is already so so important, especially in this day and age - but the visuals are absolutely stunning. A very much needed movie.

  This could be my longest review due to the fact I’ve been with this blessed franchise since game 1. Playing and watching others play this game is truly a core memory and would have been one of my silly little islands if I lived in the Inside Out universe.
