I thought this before it won best picture I just care enough now to put it into words.
Normally with movies like this, I have my initial reaction, and then come to a different conclusion weeks later. If I re reviewed A Real Pain I would look way more fondly upon the ending than what my review states now. This isn’t about that though.

Is this some new second gilded age thing where all of our new media are about rich people being out of touch pricks. White Lotus, The Menu, Succession, Parasite etc. Something different please!
The ending explains everything in such a cut and dry way that it takes out a lot of the intrigue. But it’s still fun to watch him seduce everyone and be a slimy lil ass.
Thinking about it more the plot of this movie is stupid as shit. It just sucks
