  Theatrical cut of the film. Very well paced, shot, directed, performed, etc. Not sure why they made such a deal about using a 70mm rig though since 90% of the movie takes place in a small, enclosed cabin in the mountains....

  Loved this movie. Definitely watch it. I won't discuss much, because the less you know, the better. But there is one problem I have, just one SMALL problem. There's a character at the end of the film who is wearing a pair of sunglasses, and I could not tell why they were wearing them but it was extremely distracting and kind of funny. I can't tell you why it was funny, but you'll know when you see it. Such a strange directional choice.

  This movie is so bad. But there's a really good movie buried in there. Its producer got final cut, and it shows (who would have thought an owner of a Porn mag wouldn't know anything about editing?) but I swear to you all, there is a fantastic movie with great direction, writing, and performances somewhere in this baffling sequence of images. Somewhat fittingly, watching Caligula is like looking at barely preserved wall art in Herculaneum or Pompeii. If you squint,…
