The parallels they tried to do with the original just make this SO MUCH FUNNIER: the awful narration, the bizarre acting (trying to imitate Christan Bale I think?), and the horrible doubles they found for Bateman.
It's honestly difficult trying to talk about this movie, since there's just so much, it's so much

A blast! Extremely funny and unique
You can see the inspirations this movie takes, it combines elements of old school slapstick comedies from the 1910s and 20s, with cartoons like Wile E. Coyote and Bugs Bunny, while still being very much modern, with lots of surreal and nonsense humor, making for a cinematic experience unlike anything else
Like any comedy, there's bound to be some jokes that don't land for you, as there were for me, but still, I can't recommend it enough

The animation is pretty rough, sometimes it's good, mostly it's not. The backgrounds are nice, but some interiors are all on white, but you don't get the sense that it's used as a color, it just feels lazy, like they left the background uncolored. Many times the animation feels like it has no weight at all, especially when characters are jumping or flying, and frankly, the style is mostly just ugly, if you have an interesting story you can make…

I never thought a movie basically told all from flashbacks and snippets would be this tight. Despite the occasional scene I believe shouldn't be cut so soon, the movie is very easy to follow, even though it's so dense with information, and is pretty fast paced for a biopic of a physicist
