wow. completely enamored with this one. one of the most intentional movies i’ve seen in a long time. every line, every cut, every moment of silence amidst the chaos, perfectly and expertly crafted by those involved.
it’s rare that a movie truly makes me feel like i’m present for every single moment alongside it’s lead, and Mikey Madison as the titular Anora was a force to be reckoned with.
going to be thinking about and feeling this one for quite some time, i imagine.

i hate this man so goddamn much. this was the was worst script i’ve ever heard and the worst editing i’ve ever seen.
it felt like the entire cast had just learned what the concept of a movie was before each take because the line deliveries and the interactions between characters felt like if a baby was cast in every single role (minus allison pill who was really the only saving grace of this “movie”)
