Nosferatu doesn't have a mustache. I'm sorry, he just doesn't. I know Robert Eggers wanted to be "subversive," but giving Nosferatu a mustache is just obvious disrespect to the fans.

On first viewing, I was bemused, bewildered, irritated, and disappointed - but still intrigued enough to want to watch it again.
On second viewing, I was still bemused, bewildered, irritated, and disappointed, BUT at the same time I was entranced, transported, charmed, even moved to tears twice. I settled into the film's rhythm and understood its narrative and thematic goals a little more. Certain creative choices which had seemed disastrous now seemed inspired.
