  I found this unbelievably over-written and over-directed. Page after page of people explaining the stakes in lieu of showing them, then some visual tricks that I can only describe as cheesy as hell. Kenneth Branagh’s accent was pretty good though.

  First time noticing how quickly Luke is adopted by rebels in the last act. I understand he’s a pilot (weirdly established only through dialog), but is he even on Yavin an hour before being given the keys to an X-Wing?
