My Own Private Idaho 1991
This is my all time favorite movie. Would not recommend for everyone as it is extremely alternative. But it’s well done. Well acted. It’s funny. It’s definitely an art piece and the scenes move slowly. But it’s so fantastic if you appreciate the landscape. It’s also groundbreaking material for the time it was filmed. And it’s one of the few roles you can see Phoenix in as an adult. The laugh out loud scenes are iconic.

Love love love. It’s never been quite as scary as the first time. I rewatch it every once and awhile to catch more things I missed the first times. But so good. Toni Collette is a literal treasure. The script is flawless. Talk about being screwed out of an Oscar. When will this genre be respected on the Oscar level???? . Ugh. Such a good horror film though. The head banging on the ceiling. So good. Won’t sleep for days though.
