"I love you. Not enough to live with you, only to ruin your life."

Last time I watched one of these Tale of movies I was en route to spend a weekend with someone I was real crazy about. It didn't work out. I guess I wanted it too bad. The first great film of the second Trump presidency. Where Den of Thieves was mad as hell, not gonna take it anymore, and looking to lash out at any domestic Other in sight, Den of Thieves 2 recognizes international capital networks as immutable and something to push against only with a certain stoicism. All one might  do is get their slice of the pie and get fucked up with their friends. What else is to be done? The scene where Big Nick and Donny do molly and get schwarma and bro out was genuinely awe inspiring, taking me back to my greatest times abroad.

    Solid 8/10.

    Why is Megalopolis so awful?

Let's look at one scene, occurring ~2 hours in. Audrey Plaza, Jon Voight and Shia…

Hegel remarks somewhere that all Star Wars: The Phantom Menaces appear, so to speak, twice. He forgot to add: the first time as farce, the second time as slop.
