I’ll admit it: if the two protagonists ended up together I would have been happy as well because their chemistry was just so good (I’ve realised later on that they worked together several times and I think that explain a lot).
BUT
I’m happy they didn’t!!!!!!! Because it would have been cliché and the same repeating trope over and over again.
Instead, they chose to show an healthy relationship between a boy and a girl, two best friends who only wants the best for each other.Only watched because < Milo 3
