Fellini Satyricon 1969
Functioning simultaneously as an allegory and an ode to poetry, eroticism, sexuality, and the surrender to repressed desires, Fellini Satyricon showcases Federico Fellini in total and absolute command of his craft and crew in a bold and dreamlike adaptation of a first-century novel, which has survived to the present day only in fragments.

Fellini Satyricon 1969

The Brutalist 2024
With a beautifully structured screenplay and outstanding performances from the entire cast, The Brutalist is a powerful account and an emotional tribute to the arduous journey of immigrants and the myriad of challenges they face in their quest to establish themselves in a land entirely different from the one they once knew.

Emilia Pérez 2024
Incoherent, sloppy, and with laughable musical sequences, Emilia Pérez presents good intentions in depicting the story of a Mexican drug cartel boss transitioning genders. However, the execution and approach are a complete disaster. In addition to the fact that the story is set in Mexico but lacks any Mexican actors in the cast (instead featuring a Spanish actress and two Americans who fail to emulate Latino Spanish), the lack of depth in the once-promising titular character and the lazy storyline contribute negatively to the experience of watching the film.
