These questions are treated less as a dramatic conflict and more like creeping shadows in a thriller.
I’m sorry if I’m being mean, but there are only so many times I can roll my eyes at a film.
Every pretend phone call, every obvious narrative choice, every phony line reading, that insult of an ending.
Just exhausting.
and Elizabeth Olson… man. Maybe she watched one too many Caitlin Reilly videos or something.
Just absolutely empty, all of it.
Not a disappointment because of the pairing of the two, but rather because of the absolute cynicism surrounding their reunion.
