  i am once again crying because of my daddy issues...

  it's hard to find an actual horror movie that won't make me cringe every 5 minutes, but this one was pretty good. i am very fond of south korean entertainment, because of the way the characters are usually so detailed and relatable, and that is without a doubt this movie's biggest strength.

  also that zombie train train shot was so fucking cool

  i was completely mesmerized as this was my first time watching both a ghibli studio and hayao miyazaki movie. beautiful story, incredible world. the creativity one must have to make something of this sort is just...i have no words. wish i could live inside this cruel, scary, god/demon world. i think that speaks for itself.

  the definition of a beautiful tragedy. the cinematography in this is spectacular, especially the first few shots. kristen stewart, i love you, the way you control the camera, the way you gave so much into this character, i felt everything you wanted me to feel.

  my only issue with this movie was the pace on a few scenes, which i even feel were unnecessary.
