Rewatching this movie before entering the cinema for the farewell to the Fox Universe is a pretty way to understand that before 'The Boys' came out, Deadpool was the stand-alone part of REAL comedy in superheroes (or just super-enabled individuals. When you watch the movie, you'll understand). If you are into dark humor and R-Rated films and you like the superhero films that have been release over the years, this one is for you. To think about the first time I watched this, when it came out in 2016, it makes me nostalgic and happy to see it still makes me smile, laugh and enjoy it!

Past Lives is more than just a story about a "What-if" love. It's a take on multiculturalism and its implications in modern society. It's meant for us viewers to finish the movie and think about where we are and where we want to be. Sometimes we have beautiful moments with people that enter our lives, linger, and then they are gone forever. Perhaps great friends, but never lovers. It is a movie to recommend to people who want to think about their past, present, and future after just leaving the theater.
Routines can be a double-edged sword: comforting yet stifling. A break in the pattern can make everything seem unfamiliar and unsettling. It's poetic how routines make us find a safe place in life, especially regarding family. Not knowing when we'll see someone again is always a nerve-wracking experience. The Ice Merchants story beautifully tells us how strong a routine of a father-son relationship can be. The film's evocative music and stunning visuals elevate it beyond a simple animated short. Winter was comforting for this duo, but when Summer came, things had to change. An inspiring and emotional story.
