Typical Seth MacFarlane, with jokes going from obvious to smart in a few minutes. Great actors, great cameos - i loved Doc Brown cameo, as well as NPH's Foy "Challenge Accepted". In my opinion, a funny film worth watching.
Wow. Just, just... Wow.
As a LEGO fan, I had very high expectations on this movie. Wonderfully, it beat them all. The stop-motion-like style, the minifigs constricted moves, the everything-is-lego... I mean everything, including explosions, water, you name it.
And the awesome ending? Wow.
I'm speechless about it.
Right now I've only watched the Portuguese dubbed version - which is, let me say, beautifully translated and voiced -, but I pretend to also watch the original as soon as it comes out.
Talking about this movie, Everything Is Awesome indeed.
In my opinion a great movie, clearly done for the people who watched the first - Monsters Inc. - as children: those who are now, themselves, in university. Besides the you-can-only-understand-them-if-you-were-in-college jokes, what I liked more about this movie is the way it goes an "unpredictable" way, which is difficult as you know what comes after.
Although this saga never really called me, buying Disney Infinity meant I'd have to watch it: Jack Sparrow and a whole Pirates playset are part of the starter pack and I knew I wouldn't be able to really experience it if I didn't know its world.
This said, I liked this movie. I wasn't expecting anything, so the whole movie came as a surprise. Nice story, nice effects, nice acting. Also, I really liked Jack Sparrow - sorry, Captain Jack Sparrow - as a character.
PS: Infinity's Jack Sparrow perfectly captures Depp's acting, mainly his move.
