Was really hoping I would love this movie... in the end I was just annoyed by the story; I finished it for the beautiful period-piece visuals.
The sets and costuming are PHENOMENAL,, no doubt they it should be recognized and referenced. However, the plot was completely predictable within the first 20 minutes, the dialogue is ... not good, and the characters shallow.
The effort put into the set and costumes are such a contrast from everything else about this movie.
