  GREAT concept. I like the villain to hero arch. I just don't like the backdrop that it's set up against: Mexico as the land where crime spawns. I would love to see this exact movie but made by a Mexican person who's actually been affected by this type of violence.
  Great visuals for the musical numbers. The two leads are amazing, very engaging performances.
  Terrible songs (which sucks for a MUSICAL), and the fanfiction version of Mexico was too distracting;…

  I absolutely love this movie. There was a lot of work put into writing the script and it shows. Everything is so alive in it, and the emotions so beautifully shown. It introduced the audience to deaf culture in a way I had never seen before in film.
