Saturday Night 2024
Unbelievably well told story. Very well paced film, which is especially impressive due to how many stories it's telling for each different character. Some sneaky powerhouse performances in Cooper Hoffman and Ella Hunt with the lesser screentime they received. Of course, Gabriel Labelle and Rachel Sennott gave very inspired performances and shined, even while being surrounded by an amazing ensemble cast. Extremely funny, while not being kitschy or overly goofy. Last thing that truly shocked me was the camerawork. The way the cameras moved was very basic in nature, yet was extremely effective in immersing the audience in the stressful setting of studio 8H.
