    Nosferatu

    ★★★

Lily-Rose Depp delivers a flawless performance in Nosferatu, firmly stepping out of her father’s shadow and establishing herself as a force in cinema. The film maintains a consistently chilling atmosphere, and despite its slightly slow pace, I was never bored. However, some moments bordered on comical, which undercut the eerie tone the film was aiming for.

Overall, this remake is masterfully executed. The performances are outstanding, and the special effects for the gore are incredibly realistic and genuinely blood-curdling. I also appreciated how the film subtly explored themes of female repression and agency.

While some of the performances in Legends of the Fall are questionable, Brad Pitt fully embodies his role with remarkable conviction. Although the story is undeniably heartbreaking, it feels somewhat compromised by a rushed narrative that jumps between time periods, occasionally glossing over pivotal moments in the characters' lives. This pace detracts from the emotional depth the film strives for. It’s worth a watch for the cinematography and powerful themes, but it doesn’t quite reach the level of a must-see classic.

The chemistry between Nicole Kidman and Harris Dickinson in this movie was insane. Seeing a woman in her late 50s portrayed as sexy, successful, and unapologetically powerful is a refreshing and much-needed shift in cinema, and Nicole Kidman embodies this role flawlessly.

Though the storyline isn’t particularly complex,…

    ★★★★

A sexy and disturbing display of a desperate want for power and influence, completely consuming a man. A brutally honest depiction of the boredom that is a regular consequence of ‘having it all’. Incredible acting and perfect casting.
