Obviously much more in the Okja/Snowpiercer vein of Bong Joon Ho's work, but when you think of the other films you're contrasting from, the same eccentric and circus like performance is there as well, just without the wild costumes.
+1 for another creature in his cinematic universe that's terrifyingly cute.
