Idk man like this is still a well made movie but I feel like I kinda had the same reaction to this that a lot of people did to Promising Young Woman. Like all this build up and I’m like oh, that’s it?
Good part of that could be me just being desensitized and expecting more from this being such a talked about movie but for the time I can see that this must’ve been nuts.
Yes I didn’t accidentally max out the stars I really liked this movie that much. It felt like if someone made a movie that was the cool parts of Attack of the Clones and that one part in the third Spy Kids movie where Elijah Wood comes out of a portal and goes, “He’s not the guy. I’m the guy.”
I feel it necessary to specifically mention here that yes I do seriously mean that as an appraisal of this…
