  Hustlers was a film I heard a lot about last year, but never took the time to actually check out. Now I've seen it...meh. It's a very well made film and there's a lot there to enjoy but...meh.

  Hustlers is about strippers who, during the 2007-2008 US financial crisis, take matters into their own hands, robbing Wall Street bankers to make their living. It's based on a true story and I would highly recommend reading about it if that interests…

  Sinister is a great horror film, terrifying and gothic and gripping. Ethan Hawke is fun to watch and never feels too frustrating as the protagonist. It takes steps outside the conventional horror box but perhaps could've gone further to create a truly unique viewing experience. Despite this, a must-watch for any horror fans looking for a brilliant modern demonic story to dig their teeth into.

  Pineapple Express 2008

  Fairly fun film, some good jokes, some not so good and one really funny chase sequence I won't forget in a while. Thought it would rely too heavily on the stoner comedy but actually a decent balance. The action scenes are enjoyable enough but maybe go on a little long. Rogen and Franco are unsurprisingly hilarious and their on-screen chemistry is easily the highlight of this film. Overall, not groundbreaking or a classic but a fun chill watch when you don't know what else to do.
