a really cool premise with a really odd/disappointing execution. the tone and pacing was all over the place - the first act dragged quite a bit, but the conflict & final act felt extremely rushed. the characters just constantly kept making bizarre decisions, and the dialogue felt really forced in some places. ultimately the acting (namely sebastian stan) and cinematography helped a lot to keep me engaged and saved the film overall. shant be watching again!

really great. i was skeptical in the first act, esp with the russian twink’s awful fake video game playing, but it really hooked me once the other russians showed up. LUV the night time nyc vibes and the relationships between all the characters (again, particularly the other russian guys). mikey madison is amazing and i hope this wins sum OSCARS!!!

wow! really great set design, cinematography and performances (namely lily rose deep - that girl can shake!!!!). plot was a bit middling, with the first two thirds being pretty engaging but the last third kind of rushed and falling apart. aaron taylor johnson was also pretty shit and drags the score down a bit. maybe on rewatch i will rate higher 🤔🤔
