A film summed up to the moment where Charley and Audrey begin dancing while The Feelies' "Loveless Love" slowly fades. The music frames the moment, with its extended instrumentals, very well. Just that precise moment, when something 'wild' as in "love" was churning. Subtle, however the music of The Feelies gives an austere 'tipping point' of 'what's to come'.

This film has an iridescence and overall charm. The coloration is akin to Wes Anderson, though in this case it really shines as a '1950s' intensity. When I emphasise 'intensity', I refer to the shear connection of Anderson's coloration/direction and 1950s nostalgia.
