I was trying to work out an arc of this film, but I couldn’t really. Is the rising action when rudolf learns he’s being relocated but does not report it? Is the climax when he finds out he’ll go back to his house on Auschwitz? Or when he has a moment of reconciliation on the stairs in the final scene (“will history look back on me fondly?” I imagine he thinks) only to put his cap on and keep stepping? …

The Killing of a Sacred Deer 2017
(spoilers) I must say I was absolutely spellbound by this movie. From the score, to the performances, to the cinematography! To be able to authentically tell a story of what drives a man to kill his son was quite a feat. Although Im unsure as to why they kept alluding to puberty.. still a little hazy haha.

Cruising 1980
The 80s gay leather scene through the lens of an interloper. This movie Definitely shows its time in how gayness is associated with wickedness, sin, and vice. But how sexy is that!
Amazing lighting, sound design (the squeaky leather!), and cinematography.
At this point it’s a trope in movies and tv when a detective’s assignment gets too deep and “messes with his personal life,” but who doesn’t want to see Pacino at his prime act a little fruity. He looked fucking fantastic!Translated from by
